Immersive 3D Commerce Platform
3D-first ecommerce platform using Three.js and WebGL for interactive product visualization — in active development alongside the Inverness India 2D ecommerce storefront baseline.
Problem
Traditional ecommerce product pages fail to convey spatial qualities of jewelry and configurable goods where visual inspection drives purchase decisions.
Solution
Building a 3D-first commerce experience with WebGL-based product visualization, interactive camera controls, and real-time rendering integrated with jewelry catalog and checkout workflows.
Architecture
Three.js rendering layer with optimized asset pipeline. React frontend orchestrates 3D scene and ecommerce state. Backend APIs handle catalog, inventory sync, and order processing from As Jewels stack.
Business Impact
Enhances product discovery and purchase confidence through immersive visualization for high-value configurable jewelry products.
Technical Decisions
- Three.js for mature ecosystem and React integration
- Level-of-detail asset loading for performance scaling
